I just have to say this as an American who loves the U.S. and has traveled the world.We all live under a bubble in this world but when your airplane pops out of the bubble of info into free space you leave all of your countries ideals behind and you begin to realize everything you have ever be taught is based on your countries ideas and beliefs.Saint Augustine said one of the most important things ever said"The world is a book and those who don’t travel only read one page."If you don’t you just get stuck on page 1 and that is all you ever know and that is dangerous.As I travel the world and see all of the different cultures I see how I was taught to believe America was the greatest place in the world.Well,that is the same propaganda north Korea teaches to its people.I have seen the same mentality in a brainwashed isolated north Koreans as I have seen in a mid western isolated Americans.If I said this to a north Korean they would scream and complain that I am a liar but that is the the same way as our isolated mid westerners or any isolated non traveled American would act.My brother is a history professor who understands everything about history but has always liked to live in the smallest towns.Yeah!He has never traveled and has no idea about the outside world and it hurts me deeply because if I try to talk to him about the American foreign policy even before George Bush he gets mad and I think to myself "Why did you ever study history." I talked to my friends about this the other day from Sweden,Denmark and Finland and Thailand and they all said to me about their own personal upbringing "Don’t you think we are taught that we are the best country in the world?"Everyone is taught that but we as Americans who use to be the real paradise(outside of nasty slavery)have lost our power as the light in the dark so things have changed.My point is FOX news is our version of U.S.S.R type propaganda.I have had friends from Europe straight out ask me If I trusted in it before they would be my friends.As I watch news around the world talking about all realty and things Americans will almost never see I get sick in my stomach when I click to FOX and their only talking about diets and Paris Hilton.I saw it happen today.WE ARE BEING LIED TO BY FOX NEWS.Plus to all people outside the bubble Bill O’Reilly is considered to be the biggest liar on the planet outside the worst countries and he is.People who believe him are the same as people in north Korea crying and listening to Kim Jong ll just not quite as sick.Listen,this is just a little heads for all of you who have never been outside the bubble.Just like we feel for the isolated north Koreans.Our news is not necessarily true either.But what news is?You just have to travel the world yourself and learn what is real and what is not.I LOVE AMERICA AND I HOPE WE CAN BE THE LIGHT IN THE DARK AGAIN.

The logical path:

Is this chap physically young or mentally young?

While it is logically possible to cure or stop disease, the rejuvenation or standstill of the ageing process requires that ALL cells are capable of regeneration. Each cell has a specific purpose and a lot of them are naturally regenerating but on the whole the ‘machine’ wears out through continual use and damage from life generally. To keep things as they are would require a change in the DNA makeup rather than a life style. The present mechanism is not programmed to do what this chap is on about.

This Ted Elden sounds questionable. His two quotes have double meanings.

I have seen a few different posts, and some made by myself about the trinity and nature of God. Now, since I do not speak Hebrew, I went to askmoses.com to speak with a Rabbi and get this matter cleared up, because I was hearing Christians using Elohim as a plural of number.

As Ii Urdu and Arabic, I am told in Hebrew there are plurals for respect as well as for numbers. Is not Elohim a plural of respect or am I mistaken?

Why is the name "Elohim" plural?

Rabbi Shlomo Chein: Each one of G-d’s names refer to one of his attributes/manifisations (G-d alone is beyond any name – the names are just in relation to ways He interacts with us). And the name Elokim refers to the manifestation found in nature, or in things that don’t appear to be G-dly

Anina: so for example, elohim has to do with nature because: breshit bara elohim…has to do with God creating everything?

Anina: that makes sense then. so elohim is only used when referring to nature in a sense?

serenechaos: the main reason I ask is I was being told that basis for a trinity is found in the Hebrew use of Elohim.. I do not know Hebrew, and did not think it was right but kept my teeth together.

Just so I am clear, the question was more about why this could be so widespread as an error amongst christians?

check out Urgarit, a neighbouring city state to Israel. There El was worshipped at the head of a family of gods, he was married to Asherah, the Queen of Heaven, much the same as the El or Yaweh of the Hebrews.
There Elohim described the members of the court of heaven, definitely numbers.
I think its possible the phrase has changed in Hebrew over time to match their change from polytheism to monotheistic thought.

ok. first. #1 is my real friend and #2 is my problem. #2 used to be my friend but he ruined it over weeks. im 15 to clarify. so one day i went to tell #2 i didnt want to be his friend anymore. I was VERY stern with him, but he was VERY stubborn with ME. he was desperate to be my friend, but i said he should have thought about that in the first place.
so the next day he was all mean to me. i couldnt help but laugh because i knew he was being mean because i wasnt his friend, but he INSISTED it was because he got over it and he wanted ‘revenge’ or some shit like that. so heres the ‘good’ part (bad part) #1 (my friend)
always says that he HATES #2, but then ,an hour later, hes at #2’s house, hanging out with him. ok, so just a few days ago, #1 ACTUALLY stops hanging out with #2 for a while and starts getting in touch with realty. but then he randomly goes back over to #2 and starts to hang out with him after how much he told me he hated him.
so just to let you know, I WAS NOT MEAN TO #2 AT ALL!!! but he still says "your so rude and imature" and i was like "i dont think that people that are mature obsess over bacugan (that SHITTY cartoon were these people have these plastic balls or whatever)" so then #1 starts being mean to me and HE starts saying "well u are imature" and the second he told me that, i wanted to RIP #2 HEAD OFF! and just today i had to tell #1 that i was SICK and TIRED of him fallng for #2’s shit. i told him i was no longer going to be his fiend if he didnt knock off the crappyness
PLEEAAAASSEE help me try to convince #1 that #2 is an asshole!

This is very confusing. lol. but i think i got it. i think that this guy is desperate to be your friend as he likes the way you are and you are his role model.

Stargirl is a story of a girl who Calls herself Stargirl Caraway, (but in realty her name is Susan), she has just transferred schools. She is a fun loving, free spirit. She does not care what others think, all Stargirl wants it to bring joy to people and make sure everyone is happy. Stargirl soon becomes interested in one boy though his name is Leo Borlock; Leo soon realizes that he also is interested in Stargirl. Leo and Stargirl gradually become very close.

Stargirl is a free-spirited girl, she does not care if the popular girls like her, or if the boys are interested in her, all she wants to do is make everyone happy. What I admire about Stargirl is that she doesn’t let the little things in life bring her down, she keeps her head up high and moves on in life. During the time I was reading this book stargirl has made me feel that I have to be who I am and not let anybody change that, because since I am comfortable with who I am it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks.

However when Stargirl transfers to Mica High school her ways of being a free-spirit and just expressing herself is not going over well with the popular girls, especially Hillari Kimble. Accept Stargirl doesn’t notice the other student`s bitterness towards her. Before long Stargirl joins the Cheerleading team, everyone loves her, and for once the basketball team is actually winning. Until one game as usual Stargirl would cheer for the opposing team, but this time she did something even more mind blowing. When the opposing teams star player fell and hurt his ankle Stargirl ran to his aid, and Mica High lost their first game that season. From then on people ignored Stargirl; they treated her like she was invisible except for two People Leo Borlock and Doris Dilson. If I was Stargirl in this situation I would want to hide away from the world for the rest of my life, but Stargirl doesn’t do that she doesn’t even let it bother her which is what I admire about Stargirl.

There is only one boy at Mica High that doesn`t see Stargirl as a freak and that is Leo Borlock. Leo Borlock really likes Stargirl, but he doesn’t want people to know. He is afraid that if people find out that he likes Stargirl, everyone will treat him the way they treat Stargirl, as if he was invisible. Soon Stargirl starts to realize the way Leo really feels about her. Then In what seemed like the blink of an eye everyone at Mica High knew about Leo and Stargirl being together. Leo was mortified at first but then realized that it doesn’t matter what was else thinks because he is happy about being with stargirl. If I was Leo in this situation I wouldn’t care what everyone else thinks all I would care about is that ia happy no matter what everyone else thinks.

Since Stargirl has only two friends it makes me really upset that no one has even the least bit of decency to just sit down with her for either three minutes or three hours and just talk and get to know her. Even though she may come across a little strange on the outside doesn’t make her a bad person, because if some of these people saw what she really is like on the inside, 99% of the students would probably change the way they think about Stargirl. They would see that all these little quirky things about her, are just her way of showing kindness and compassion towards other people.

“Be who you are, because no one else is better qualified”
I think this quote truly represents they way that Stargirl lives her life. She lives it to the fullest, but the amazing thing about stargirl she lives her life the way she wants to live it not the way anyone else wants her to. I think I takes really amazing person to live his/her life not caring what close are cool and what not to wear ,but just to enjoy life not caring about life’s little problems. Stargirl lives in the moment and doesn’t let a problem that happened yesterday ruin today. Which makes her her own person, it makes her unique, it makes her truly incredible.

My lease (it went from a 1 year lease to a month to month in August of 2009, but the lease states that in the event the property goes month to month that all terms and conditions stay the same, with the exception that either party may terminate the contract with a 30 day notice.) states that the landlord must give me 120 days notice prior to listing the home for sale, however as of right now I still have NOT received anything in writing and have not heard from the owner, but my property management company called yesterday to let me know that the property is in foreclosure and that the owner has hired another realty firm to list the property as a short sale. My property management company then issued the owner a 30 day notice to terminate their property management agreement, they also told me that the owner has not paid the mortgage since August 2009 and that it will go to trustee sale in early June (the default was filed early Feb. 2010). I just paid my March 2010 rent on Friday and today I get a voicemail from the owners "selling agent" telling me that I have to show the house and that he is coming to inspect the home later this week as he has now retained the listing on the property. Do I HAVE to let him inspect the home? Do I have to let them show the home? I have yet to receive any notice from the owner stating that he is either giving me a 30 day notice to vacate, nor the 120 day notice of his intent to sell. My property manager also told me that when they asked the owner about my security deposit that he stated he no longer has it as he had to use it to try to keep up the mortgage payments. What can I do? I do not have the money to move as I just paid my rent for this upcoming month, and it appears I will not be getting back my deposit. ARGH! Help please!
I understand that I have now been given notice as of yesterday, however as I have already paid my rent for March, does that not allow me to live in peace for the month of March and then allow the property to start getting shown 30 days AFTER I was given notice? And how do I recoup my deposit? It’s obvious I can’t sue for it as the owner has no money. The agents message said that the owner would discount my rent by $100 per month to allow for the disruption, my current rent is $1700 so $100 doesn’t do much for me, nor does it repay my security deposit.

Get ready to move. Sounds like the owner no longer owns the home, and that the bank is taking over. I’d start looking for a new place to live, and stop sending money to your landlord – sounds like he hasn’t used your rent to pay the mortgage.

You may want to consult your city attorney and discuss landlord-tenant law with them, and see what rights you have, and any protection you have at this point. But it sounds like the place is going to be sold, whether you like it or not.
